Preventing Hyphenation of Specific Words

If your text is automatically hyphenated and certain hyphenated words look ugly, or if you want specific words never to be hyphenated you can switch off hyphenation for those words:

1. Choose - Languages and Locales - Writing Aids

2. प्रयोगकर्ता-परिभाषित शव्दकोष सूचीमा शव्दकोष चयन गर्नुहोस् , र सम्पादनक्लिक गर्नुहोस्.

   यदि सूची खाली छ भने, शव्दकोष सिर्जना गर्नका लागि नयाँक्लिक गर्नुहोस् .

3. शव्द बाकसमा, शव्द टाइप गर्नुहोस् जुन तपाईँ योजक चिन्हबाट झिक्न चाहनुहुन्छ, समान संकेबाट अनुगमन गरिएको (=), उदाहरणका लागि, "pretentious=".

4. नयाँ क्लिक गर्नुहोस्, र त्यसपछि बन्द गर्नुहोस् क्लिक गर्नुहोस् ।

Some words contain special characters that LibreOfficeDev treats as a hyphen. If you do not want such words to be hyphenated, you can insert a special code that prevents hyphenation at the position where the special code is inserted. Proceed as follows:

1. Position the cursor at the place where no hyphenation should occur.

2. Choose Insert - Formatting Mark - Word Joiner.

   The inserted formatting mark will be shown in gray. To remove it, simply place the cursor over the formatting mark and press the Del key.
