LibreOffice Server Install GUI
Version 4.1.x
Master as well as Alpha and Beta versions will be installed independently from the normal stable LibreOffice version by default. But of course you also can install a testing version or stable version of LibreOffice using Server Install GUI. Parallel installations are useful if you do not want master version installations to be overwritten by later master version installations.
Utilize a LibreOffice Server Install GUI a seu próprio risco. Este produto não traz qualquer garantia. Por favor leia estas instruções completamente antes de o usar.
Windows Installer 4.5
Microsoft .NET Framework 4 Client Profile (x86 e x64)
Pode instalar a ferramenta de forma simples, bastanto clicar duas vezes no ficheiro setup.exe que transferiu no Explorador do Windows. Se não tiver nenhum pré-requisito instalado, it will be automatically installed before the installation of Server Install GUI starts.
Após a instalação, econtrará a “GUI de Instalação do Servidor LibreOffice” na subpasta "Reisisoft" in the Windows Programs Start Center as well as on the desktop.
1) Inicie o programa. In the top left corner a drop-down list will give you the option of downloading the current version of the latest branch, older branch, testing build, or master. A list of LibreOffice versions available to download will also appear in the drop-down list optionally. This list must be updated by clicking the “Update list of versions” button. Place a check mark in the “Installer” and/or “Offline help” boxes to download these files. The offline help file language can be selected from the “Language help” drop-down list. After clicking the “Begin download” button a confirmation prompt will appear.
2) The path to the downloaded installer file should appear in the text box next to the “Open LibreOffice installer” button. The default location of the download is determined in the “About/Settings” pane. You can also browse to the location by clicking the “Open LibreOffice installer” button and then select the file. The name might be “libreoffice-3-6~2012-10-31_08.03.29_LibreOffice-Dev_3.6.4.0_Win_x86_install_en-US.msi” or similar. If the “Advanced file renaming” box is unchecked in “About/Settings” this file will always be named “libo_installer.msi”.
3) Tal como no passo 2 acima, clique e navegue até ao instalador de ajuda localizado. Selecione o instalador com o botão “Abrir ajuda do LibreOffice”.
4) Click the “Configure installation directory” button to browse for the folder where you want to install a particular version of LibreOffice. It is not recommended to use the default Windows programs folder because administrator permission will be required. Use something like “C:\LibreOffice_Server\”.
5) Tick the check box "Should a sub folder be created automatically?" and enter the name of the sub folder in the text field below. If you download LibreOffice via LibreOffice Server Install GUI a name for the sub folder will be automatically suggested. You may change the suggestion now. If you do not want to have a sub folder automatically created, simply uncheck the check box mentioned above.
6) Click the “Start installation” button to begin a parallel installation. The normal LibreOffice installation dialogs will appear. Click the “Go” button next to the path to the setup if you want to perform a normal installation.
7) Click the “Open bootstrap.ini” button. The path and contents of this file will appear in the text boxes below this button. Once you are finished editing the bootstrap.ini file, click the “Save bootstrap.ini” button. Details about the bootstrap.ini file can be found below. Note that if the “Auto-edit bootstrap.ini” box is checked in “About/Settings” this step is not applicable.
8) If you want to have a desktop icon for the previously created LibreOffice server installation, click the “Create shortcut” button after the installation is finished.
9) Close Server Install GUI and start you new LibreOffice server installation by double clicking “soffice.exe” in the “program” sub folder of the folder you selected in step 4 and/or 5, or via the desktop shortcut you created in step 8.
The input pane allows to define what user profile the server installation of LibreOffice will use. You can find details concerning user profile at https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile#User_profile_location.
Four locations are appropriate for your user profile:
a) You change nothing. Your server installation will use (and create, if necessary) the default profile defined by the default entry in bootstrap.ini like “UserInstallation=$SYSUSERCONFIG/LOdev/4”.
c) You use a separate user profile only for this version with entry "UserInstallation=$ORIGIN/.." This is the default option if the “Auto-edit bootstrap.ini” box is checked in “About/Settings.”
d) You use a separate common user profile for your parallel installations with entries like "UserInstallation=$SYSUSERCONFIG/LibreOffice-dev/3" or "UserInstallation=$SYSUSERCONFIG/LibreOffice/3experimental" or similar.
e) You may use the snippet provided right beneath the text box to not override your profile, which is the same as in step c above.
Clicar o botão do gestor irá abrir uma nova janela do gestor. No gestor, poderá adicionar ou apagar instalações paralelas existentes.
Inside the manager click "Manually add parallel installation". A dialogue will pop up. Click "Configure path" and select the soffice.exe file of the parallel installation. Confirm by clicking “Okay”. New installations will be added automatically!
Check the parallel installations you want to delete. After that click "Delete selected". After the command line disappears the parallel installation has been deleted. Deleting files is always risky!
